Lenin Sanchez era el 4 de cuatro hijos. Hermano e hijo.

Lenin Sanchez was the fourth of 4 children. Brother and son, he has left leaving an emptiness in our hearts. He left without giving me the chance to tell him how much I loved him. He left without allowing things to change. Today he is in heaven besides God Almighty. Born in Quito Ecuador but raised in Colombia, Lenin was the hope of the family. He was very brilliant and smart. For a long time a wonderful student. Now he has left for ever , but for ever he will be in my heart. Sadly my brother's last years were pervaded by emotional issues and drug consumption. The wrong people that he would hang out with influenced him trhough the wrong path just to wind up as a homeless. A chose that he made and from which we tried to get him out from. On November the 14th Lenin was the victim of a car accident at the town of Toberin in northern Bogota. Without an ID , Lenin was taken to the city morgue until January the 6th 2008. The funeral services will take place in Facatativa Cundinamarca Colombia. Lenin Alexei Sanchez Parada would have turned 24 this coming May the 15th. He is survived by his mother, father and three older brothers. He loved rock music and would always enjoy the rock to the park festival. Although depressive Lenin always had good advises to his mother and brothers. In an odd and cold way he would talk about his death and asked people not to cry. How wrong you were Lenin. The love that we had for you is even stronger and it makes us have tears rolling down our cheeks when we think about the fact that you are gone. We can only hope one day God allows us to reunite again.

You will always be missed.

Hostage Child Colombia

BOGOTA (Reuters) - A child living in Colombia's foster care system since 2005 appears to be the same boy that leftist rebels promised to free from captivity last week, a source in the attorney general's office said on Friday, citing DNA test results.

The three- or four-year-old child has become a national obsession since Monday when President Alvaro Uribe said he believed the boy, named Emmanuel, was no longer being held hostage in the jungle.

DNA tests results show "a high probability" that Uribe was correct, the source in the attorney general's office said.

If confirmed, the boy's discovery would hurt the credibility of Marxist rebel leaders.

The Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia, or FARC, promised to free Emmanuel along with his mother, kidnapped politician Clara Rojas, and another lawmaker held captive for years in secret jungle camps.

The FARC said it would turn the three over to Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez, a leftist. But the deal crumbled on Monday after a series of delays when Uribe said Emmanuel was probably already free and the FARC accused Uribe of ordering army operations in the area where the handover was to take place.

Emmanuel was born in a rebel camp, his father a guerrilla fighter.
